Ravannack appointed as CEO of Goldex Resources

Vancouver, October 10, 2007 Goldex Resources Corporation (TSX-V: GDX) (G6T- FSE) Goldex Resources appoints James Ravannack as CEO.
James Ravannack is both an exceptional businessman and entrepreneur. In 1989 Mr. Ravannack co-founded Superior Well Services which in 1995 performed a reverse merger with the NASDAQ Stock Exchange to create Superior Energy. Superior Energy is the leading provider of services and equipment to the oil and gas industry in the Gulf of Mexico and currently trades on the New York Stock Exchange. Superior has grown from an initial public offering to having a presence on six continents. Currently Mr. Ravannack is the President and CEO of the Compliance Technology Group, a company that provides software solutions to the offshore petroleum industry.
James Ravannack has been both a director and shareholder of Goldex since December 2003. Mr. Ravannack would like to see the company move forward with a more aggressive plan for growth in the future.
