Goldex Announces Addition of New Geologist in Preparation for Upcoming Drill Program and New Listing on Frankfurt Exchange

Vancouver, B.C., April 12, 2006: Goldex Resources Corporation (GDX.V) announces it has hired Don White, P. Geo, as an independent consultant, to its geological team in preparation for the upcoming drill program on its 99% owned El Pato project in Guatemala.
Mr. White is a certified professional geologist with twenty-nine years experience in mineral exploration. Mr. White has been professionally active worldwide and is experienced in many areas of mineral exploration. These areas include, but are not limited to: exploration planning and management; reconnaissance and detailed geologic mapping; geochemical sampling and supervision of geophysical surveys and contract drilling directed toward discovery and delineation of metal deposits.
The addition of Mr. White to the company’s geological team, which also includes, Richard Bybee P. Geo and Clancy Wendt P. Geo., Director, provides Goldex with additional geological depth as it prepares for its upcoming drill program at the El Pato project.
Mr. Bybee has over 29 years of experience in mineral exploration much of it has been in the Central American region and on similar mineralization structures to the El Pato model. Mr. Bybee conducted the drill program which led to the discovery of the 920,000-ounce Cerro Mojon gold deposit in September, 1995, in adjoining Nicaragua.
Mr. Wendt has over 39 of experience in worldwide mineral exploration and has managed and directed multimillion-dollar exploration programs for Westmont Mining, Phillips Petroleum, Duval and Cerro Corp. Discoveries include gold, base metals and uranium. Mr. Wendt has been directly or indirectly responsible for numerous major gold discoveries.
In addition, Goldex Resources Corporation reports the company's shares are now quoted under the symbol G6T on the European Frankfurt Exchange. The listing is to facilitate recent interest in the company by European Investors that have expressed an interest in the El Pato Project in Guatemala.
