James Ravannack, CEO, Chairman & Director
Mr. Ravannack has many years experience in the oil and gas industry and was one of the founding partners of Superior Energy Services in 1999. Superior Energy trades on the New York Stock Exchange and is the leading provider of services and equipment to the oil and gas industry in the Gulf of Mexico. Currently, he is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Compliance Technology Group (“CTG”). CTG provides software solutions to the offshore petroleum industry. One of their major clients is Chevron.
Charles Ross, President, CFO & Director
Mr. Ross has worked as a finance and marketing consultant for the last 15 years. Having been a corporate secretary and director of several resource companies, he has extensive knowledge of securities, administration and finance. Mr. Ross is focused on sourcing and financing of acquisition targets.
Larry D. Kornze, Director
Mr. Kornze is a Registered Professional Engineer with APEG of BC, a Geological Engineer and a Qualified Person under NI 43-101. Mr. Kornze has more than 30 years of exploration and mining industry experience throughout North, Central, and South America, as well as in Europe and Asia. Mr. Kornze’s discoveries include gold, silver, copper, uranium and other properties. He has been involved with numerous major mineral exploration and mining companies–most recently for Barrick Gold Corporation as the Regional Manager for Mexico and Central America.
Mr. Kornze is a Director of Candente Resources Corp, Dynasty Gold Corp., Gold Summit Corp., North American Gold Inc., Anaconda Gold Corp. and other companies. He is a Member of the Geological Society of Nevada, the Society of Mining Engineers and Metallurgist of AIME, the BC Chamber of Mines, and the Prospector’s and Developer’s Association.
Milan Mezihorak, Director
With a Master degree in Industrial Management and Economics, Mr. Mezihorak has over forty years experience in engineering, project controls and management relating to mining, pulp and paper, oil sands and metallurgical and mineral processing. Since 1979 Mr. Mezihorak has held the position of Senior Cost Engineer at AMEC.
Guatemala Team
Alejandro Cacao, Project Geologist
Mr. Cacao has a degree in Geological Engineering from the University of San Carlos in Guatemala. He is a Member of the Society of Geologists in Guatemala and a Member of the College of Engineers in Guatemala. Mr. Cacao’s work involves the preparation and presentation of technical reports for government organizations.
